A little bit of a learning curve but with all the videos I'm getting the hang of it. Wish UHF and VHF were both available on one device. My most monitored sites are P25 so I'm happy with this G5.

Quality scanner, fast delivery only complaint is I ordered three in three consecutive weeks and on the third they increased the price by $100. Good company. Just bad timing I guess.

I've read about the Unication G series devices for years now. Not seeing the need in addition to other scanners, I never looked more seriously at them. After deciding I needed an option for receiving Fire/EMS dispatch for a nearby county that uses UHF trunking, with a VHF low paging frequency, as well as a simple device for highway travel, I looked back at the G5. This is the tool I've needed and didn't know it! Programming and operation has its own learning curve, as most devices do, but I was really up and running in under an hour for a large area surrounding me. Reception is crystal clear and reliable. Battery life is longer than the day is.

We are very satisfied with the purchase of the pager. It has a very loud volume if needed, and is a great tool to help us monitor the surrounding Fire/EMS calls. Shipping on the unit was exceptionally fast, as we received it in just a couple of days after the order was placed.

The Unication G5 is one of the best ways to monitor LSM Systems without a subscriber radio and is comparable to a subscriber radio in performance.
